District Technology Plan 2013-2016 In August 2013 I was fortunate to be invited to join a team of instructional staff members who, under the guidance of Maureen George, Director of Learning for CCSD, updated and revised the three-year District Technology Plan. The opportunity proved to be a terrific learning experience both of the technology and learning goals of the District and the organizational structure within. Following the end of a two day session, we submitted a first draft of the Plan to Maureen George for review.
Following the successful writing of the District Technology Plan, I was invited to join the team tasked with integrating the District Technology curriculum with the Common Core State Standards. We identified the areas of the CCSS that directly impacted the technology curriculum, integrating and updating the current framework to include the new standards.
